Senior Varsity Experienced/Advanced Team Policy Debate Camp Details
Friday, August 1st, 9:00 am - 4:00 pm
This Camp is for students who have had any experience in training & competing in Team Policy Debate, including all SV Ambassador Club students who were in the Novice Team Policy training by Anne Helton last year.
Meet Levi Cullum & Anne Helton, our Alumni Experienced/Advanced Team Policy Debate Coaches
Anne Helton: Anne began competing in JV Ambassador Club at age 10. As a Senior Varsity student she qualified for 5 years for our national league, STOA's speech & debate National Invitational Tournament of Champions, NITOC. For 3 of those 5 years, she received Stoa's Founders Award. Anne has competed at NITOC in all 3 forms of debate offered by Stoa, Team Policy, Lincoln Douglas Value, & Parliamentary Debate along with 14 of the 16 speech categories. In March of 2025, both Anne & Levi were selected as Outstanding Students representing Christian Communicators of TN for the TN Home Education Association’s annual homeschool Rally Day at the Capitol with their bios & pictures in the booklet every TN legislator, including our Governor, was given. She graduated this year & plans to attend Harding University, where she will triple major in criminal justice, psychology, & theology.
Levi Cullum: Levi has participated in Ambassador Club for many years moving from JV to compete in SV from 2021 to 2025. He has competed in every form of debate offered by our national league, Stoa, Team Policy, Lincoln-Douglas Value, & Parliamentary Debate. Levi has qualified for Stoa’s national tournament, NITOC three times in Team Policy & Parliamentary debate & in numerous speech events. He & his debate partner, Haddie Shetler, broke to outrounds in Team Policy each of the three years they qualified & competed, placing 9th nationally in 2025. Also at nationals, Levi twice went to finals in the Extemporaneous speech, a Limited Prep speech which deals with current events, placing 8th in 2024 & 7th in 2025. He won 6th place in the nation in the Open Interpretive Speech in 2024. In March of 2025, both Levi & Anne were selected as Outstanding Students representing Christian Communicators of TN for the TN Home Education Association's annual homeschool Rally Day at the Capitol with bios & pictures in the booklet every TN legislator, including our Governor, was given. Also on Rally Day, Levi won 1st place in the Apologetics Speech Contest receiving a $500 award & giving his speech at the Rally in the TN House of Representatives Chamber. Outside of Ambassador Club, Levi has been an active participant & leader in 4-H, Trail Life & church events. He plans to attend Harding University in the fall where he will study public administration with the goal of attending law school.

Camp Registration & Fees
The fee for each SV Debate Camp student is $75. Register using the drop down link above.
Register by 5:00 p.m. Monday, July 14th for our Early Registration Discount of $20. All Camp fees are paid electronically through Stripe which is included on this website as you register. Please note there is an additional service fee charged at check out. This fee is calculated and received solely by the provider. No payments will be accepted at camp as no cash will be exchanged on site.
Snacks & Lunch
While Ambassador Club will provide nutritious snacks and bottled water for each Camp's Snack Break, students attending the 9:00 am - 4:00 pm Senior Varsity Camps will need to bring their own lunches. Ambassador Club will have plenty of bottled water for students during lunch as well. Students are welcomed to bring their own labeled water bottles if they wish.
